Light Opera of New York is a professional company, and our performers and professional staff receive a modest honorarium for their work. However, there are numerous opportunities to volunteer with LOONY. Whether you are interested in being part of the administrative team, house staff or backstage crew, there is bound to be an activity that will meet your expectations, and where you will be welcomed.

A few areas that may interest you are: sewing and fitting costumes, building and painting sets, house management like ushering, checking coats, or refreshments, copy writing and proof reading, mailing, letter writing and list maintenance.
